Fence AI is developed by Quyen Ngo. We designed it to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
On first launch the app generates a random UUID stored in Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store. It is opaque and anonymous, used only to associate your credit balance with your Apple ID across devices. It is not linked to your name, email, phone, or location.
When you design a fence, the photo — together with the fence-line mask you brush — is compressed on your device, sent to our backend, and forwarded to our AI image provider (fal.ai) to produce the result image. Photos are processed in memory to generate that result and are not retained on Fence AI's servers afterward, are not saved to any database or log, and are never used to train any AI model.
Your remaining credit balance and grant/redemption timestamps are stored on our backend (hosted on Railway), keyed to your anonymous UUID, with a per-day usage counter for fair-use limits. We do not store your name, email, IP address, or location alongside it.
Credit packs are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never receive your payment details. Restoring purchases uses your Apple account via StoreKit.
Fence AI does not use location or the microphone.
The app contains no objectionable content and is suitable for all ages.
