App: Impermanence: Sand Ritual

Impermanence is a focus ritual inspired by Tibetan monks' sand mandalas. You draw a mandala with your finger — every stroke mirrors into a symmetrical pattern around the center — and then, when you're ready, you press and hold to let it disperse, grain by grain. The app never keeps the finished mandala itself; only a small memory of the session (a thumbnail, the date, and an optional note) is saved.
Drag your finger anywhere on the canvas during the drawing phase. Each stroke is mirrored around the center according to the symmetry count you chose (6 or 8 for free, up to 12 with Pro).
On the release screen, press and hold anywhere on the canvas. Progress builds the longer you hold — if you lift your finger, progress pauses rather than reversing, so you can take your time. Once fully released, the app moves on automatically.
The Complete button unlocks about a minute into drawing. This is intentional — the app is built around unhurried focus, not a race to finish.
That's the point of the ritual — impermanence. Pro members can save a memory image of the mandala from just before release, but the app deliberately never lets you keep the finished pattern forever.
