By downloading, installing, or using Snow Pick ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Snow Pick is an iOS app that ranks nearby ski resorts by today's snow conditions. The App uses your device's location to find nearby resorts and fetches live weather and snowfall data from a public weather API to compute a score for each resort. The App also provides a one-tap handoff to your preferred maps app for driving directions.
The conditions and scores provided by Snow Pick are informational and indicative only. They are based on a single weather-model query at each resort's mid-mountain elevation and do not account for local terrain, aspect, recent grooming, avalanche risk, lift status, terrain closures, weather hazards, or any other on-mountain condition that affects whether it is safe or sensible to ski or snowboard.
Snow Pick is not an avalanche forecasting service, a backcountry safety tool, a lift-status feed, or a substitute for consulting the resort, local ski patrol, or official avalanche bulletins (such as those from the national avalanche centres) before going into the mountains. You must always consult these primary sources for safety-critical decisions.
Snow Pick is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any ski resort listed in the App, nor with Open-Meteo, Apple, Google, or any maps or weather data provider. Where the App links to a resort's location or to a maps app, those links are provided for your convenience and the destination operates under its own terms.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the snow conditions, scores, ratings, resort coordinates, or elevations are correct, accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snow Pick and its developer are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other loss arising from your use of the App, including any decision you make to travel to or ride at a particular resort based on the App's score or rating. Skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous activities, and you ski or ride at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights that you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Snow Pick is free to download. The free version displays the top 3 nearest ranked resorts. Snow Pick Pro is a one-time non-consumable In-App Purchase (USD $4.99, with local currency equivalents per Apple's regional pricing) that unlocks the rest of the nearby resort list.
The Pro Unlock is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID via the in-app "Restore Purchases" action.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests should be directed to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not handle refunds directly.
Prices listed are USD reference values. Local currency equivalents may differ based on Apple's regional pricing — your App Store will display the exact price you'll be charged in your local currency before purchase.

All design, code, and curated content in Snow Pick are owned by Quyen Ngo. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo under its open licence. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
