By downloading, installing, or using TradieTick ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
TradieTick is an iOS app that helps Australian homeowners assess tradie quotes. You can paste or photograph a tradie's quote, and the App will provide an indicative analysis covering: a price-fairness assessment, identification of missing or unusual items, and suggested questions to ask the tradie. The App may also link out to official Australian government licence registers so you can verify a tradie's licence directly with the licensing authority.
The analysis provided by TradieTick is informational and indicative only. It is not financial advice, legal advice, trade advice, valuation, certification, or any other form of professional advice. Real prices for tradie work vary considerably based on access, materials, urgency, regional differences, individual tradie overheads, and many other factors that cannot be fully assessed from a written quote.
You should always obtain multiple quotes for major work and consult appropriately qualified professionals before making significant financial decisions. TradieTick is a second-opinion tool and does not replace your own judgement.
TradieTick is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NSW Fair Trading, the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC), the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), or any other Australian state, territory, or federal government body.
Where the App links to official government registers, those links are provided for your convenience and the linked sites operate under their own terms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights that you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the analysis is correct, accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradieTick and its developer are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other loss arising from your use of the App, including any decision you make based on the analysis. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
TradieTick is free to download. New users receive 3 free quote analyses on first install. Additional analyses are sold via consumable In-App Purchases:
All purchases are one-time consumable packs. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge. Credits do not expire. A daily usage limit of 50 analyses per user applies to prevent abuse of the AI service.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests should be directed to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not handle refunds directly.
Prices listed are USD reference values. Local currency equivalents may differ based on Apple's regional pricing — your App Store will display the exact price you'll be charged in your local currency before purchase.

All content, design, and code in TradieTick are owned by Quyen Ngo. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App and reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
