Is my data private?

Yes. Everything stays on your device — RentTax has no servers and collects nothing. See our Privacy Policy.

What does the purchase unlock?

Recording properties, income, and expenses is free forever. The one-time “Tax Pack Export” unlock lets you export your financial-year tax pack (CSV + PDF, with your receipts bundled in). It is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription.

How do I get my data to my accountant?

Open the Reports tab, pick the financial year, and generate the FY deductibles bundle. You can then share the CSV and PDF straight from the app.

How do I add a property?

Open the Properties tab and tap the + button. Add the address and, for a rental, any rental periods.

Does it do my tax for me?

No. RentTax is a record-keeping and reporting tool, not tax advice. Always confirm your tax position with a registered tax agent or the ATO.

How do I back up?

Settings → “Back up my data” creates a file you can save to Files or iCloud Drive.
